Whether you’ve arrived from a long journey, a busy day sightseeing, a long walk or are getting ready for an adventurous day ahead having the right food and drink is really important. The food and drink at Cleeve Hill Hotel is a reflection of this and Lindsey aims to make sure the most local and natural of ingredients and products are always used.
We’re also able to deal with all dietary requirements, in fact we’d be really happy to. With ease and a keenness to ensure you get just as much of the good stuff please mention on booking anything that might need a little more planning than normal.
When visiting the Cotswolds, you’ll want to experience the beautiful local food as well as the area and we’ve got plenty to choose from… The local butcher supplies our eggs, honey, bacon and sausages all from within a few miles of the Hotel; the apple juice is made in Gloucestershire and the dairy products are delivered fresh from the Cotswold dairy. The local bakery delivers the bread fresh each morning and with Lindsey’s homemade jam and marmalade there’s a great selection.
Dietary alternatives are easily catered for and it means breakfast is inclusive for all. Everything is cooked fresh, so requests whether vegan or an allergy to tomatoes, should be able to be catered for if known in advance. Lindsey makes every effort to ensure you really enjoy the most important meal of the day.
Adventures are what holidays are all about. Having all that fun though means you need something to keep you going and we have just the solution.
If you let Lindsey know as soon as possible that you might require a packed lunch, we’ll run through what we have to offer and prepare everything fresh in the morning so you can take it with you.
As with breakfast, all dietary alternatives are easily and happily catered for given enough notice.
Sometimes you just have a fancy; whether it’s a much needed tipple or wanting to try something you’ve not had before. With that in mind the Honesty Bar is stocked with some tempting local products, tasty sweet and savoury treats and fizzy fun for thirst quenching moments.
You can either squirrel everything back to your room or relax in the lounge and curl up on the sofas. If you time it just right, the one in the window gives you the perfect spot to watch the sun set and the breathtaking views unfurl.
